Roger Lee Goodwin

Roger Lee Goodwin, age 75, of Cedar Grove died October 15, 2021. He was born at Ward on February 16, 1946 to the late Otto and Winnie Alice Hudson Goodwin. He was also predeceased by his first wife and mother of his children Delores Goodwin. He was a Minister at Mammoth Pentecostal Church for 49 years. He was retired from Valley Camp Coal Company. He played the guitar, mandolin, and piano. He was a US Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. He is survived by his wife Debbie Ellis Goodwin, children; Donnie and wife Nora of East Bank, Scott and wife Christy of Mammoth, step-son; Greg Carpenter of Glasgow, grandchildren; Alyssa, Savannah, Allison, Ethan, Alexa, Dillan, Logan, Lyra, and great-grandchild Kora. Graveside service will be on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at 1PM at Ward Cemetery, Ward, WV with Brother Lee Holiday and Donald Stenett officiating. Visitation will be from 11:30AM until 12:45 at O’Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery. Procession will leave the funeral home promptly at 12:45 for the graveside service.
