Ervin Jendrasheske Obituary

Ervin Jendrasheske of Langenburg passed away October 16, 2021, at the Centennial Special Care Home at the age of 79 years.  Ervin grew up on the farm near MacNutt and enjoyed a happy healthy lifestyle, always involved with church and community activities.  He farmed with his brother Roman and was well known as an avid curler in the area.

In August 1985, he married Gilly and embraced her immediate family as well as the extended Langelier clan.  Ervin and Gilly created many wonderful memories; family gatherings, sports, and fishing were highlights of their 36 years together.  They sold the farm and moved to Churchbridge in 1993, and finally retired to Langenburg in 2008.

Ervin was predeceased by his parents August and Elsa, brothers Robert, Frank (Luella), Carl (Selma), Otto (Emmie), and sisters Martha, Erma Falkenberg (Rudolph), Leona Falkenberg (Alex), Agnes Jarmuske (Albert).  He is survived by his wife Gilly, stepsons Larry and Darren Dreger (Holly), stepdaughter Laurie Eskra (Pat), 6 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.  Also surviving are sisters Martha Osmak (late Herman Falkenberg and Joe Osmak), Mary Braun (late Ernie), brother Roman (Francis), and numerous nieces and nephews.

Ervin spent his last five years in long term care.   Our family is sincerely grateful for the caring staff of the Langenburg Care Home as well as the outpouring of support these past few weeks.

If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan or the Langenburg Christ Lutheran Church.
