Memorial services for Alexander “Xander” Carter are scheduled for 10:30 AM Saturday, October 23, 2021, in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Post officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday, prior to the service, beginning at 9:30 AM. Xander passed away Saturday, October 16, 2021, at the age of eighteen. He was a very headstrong young man who never met a stranger. Xander loved music, dancing, and singing. He often enjoyed video chatting and watching Youtube. He is survived by his parents, Rebecca Hinton and husband Michael, Joe Carter and Monica Swain; grandparents, Monica Bayless, Robert Bayless and wife Penny, Tony Turner and wife Cindy; half brothers and sisters, Kailan, Shelby, Chy, Erin, Paizley and Evie; step brother, Harrison Hinton; step sister, Harli Hinton; step brother, Logan Anderson and his primary caregiver, Cynthia Nelson. Xander is preceded in death by his grandfather, James Chowns; Godfather, Christopher Swain; and uncle, Johnny (John Boy) Musgrove.
