Mr. Daniel "Boone" Springer
MR. DANIEL CURTIS SPRINGER, age 85, was born on Friday, July 17, 1936 to the late Jessie Mae Snow-Springer and the late Clarence Springer in Umatilla, FL. On Saturday, October 16, 2021, he passed away while at the University Hospital in Augusta, GA. Affectionately, called “Boone” by family members and friends alike, Daniel and his parents relocated to Thomson, GA when he was a young child. As a child and young man, he attended school in McDuffie County, GA and graduated high school in 1953. During his working years, Daniel was gainfully employed with Knox-Rivers Construction Company of Thomson, GA where he worked many dedicated years until his health started to decline. On Saturday, October 12, 1963, he married the love of his life, Frances Crawford. In addition to his parents, our beloved Daniel Curtis Springer was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Crawford Springer; four sisters, Sallie Bell Dobson, Hattie Mae Boyd, Mary A. Isaac and Dorothy Mae Webster; four brothers, J.B. Springer, W.J. “Ted” Snow, James Snow and Joseph Snow; a devoted niece, Vivian Snow Doughty. We pray that our loved-one’s soul will rest in eternal peace. He will always be loved and never forgotten! He leaves to cherish precious memories: a devoted niece, Shelita Lazenby (George Jenkins) of Thomson, GA; two sisters-in-law, Louise (Tommy, Sr.) Burgess of Thomson, GA and Juanita Dickson of Fort Meyers, FL; host of additional loving nieces, several loving nephews, many other relatives and friends.Obituary
