Ada A. Raber

Ada A. Raber 84, of 6222 County Rd. 407, Millersburg, passed away on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at her home following a period of declining health. She was born on August 24, 1937 to the late Ammon and Elizabeth (Schlabach) Miller. On November 20, 1957 she married Dan A. Raber, who preceded her in death on October 14, 2021. She was a homemaker and a member of the New Order Amish Church. Ada is survived by three sons and four daughters, Mervin (Mary Ellen) Raber and Clara (Wayne) Yoder both of Fredericksburg, Larry (Wilma) Raber of Apple Creek, Freda (Ervin) Miller, Elsie (Reuben) Hershberger, Ruby Raber (Duane Lacey) all of Millersburg, and David Allen (Mattie) Raber of the home; a daughter-in-law Heather (late Laverne) Raber of Berlin; 24 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law Ruby (late Levi) Miller. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a son Laverne Raber; five sisters and three brothers, Sarah (Milt) Troyer, Lovina (Paul) Kaufman, Anna (Dan) Troyer, Nancy (Enos) Raber, Abbie (Roy) Miller, Henry (Lizzie Ann) Miller, David (Clara) Miller, and Levi Miller. Funeral services will be held at the Ervin Miller residence 5909 TR 355 Millersburg, on Monday, October 18 at 9:00 a.m. with Bishop Jonathan Miller officiating. Burial will follow in the Miller Cemetery, Mechanic Township. Friends may call at the Ervin Miller residence after 2:00 p.m. on Saturday and any time on Sunday.
