Tona Mae Halsey, age 87, of Kendallville, passed away on October 7, 2021, at Lutheran Life Villages in Kendallville. Mrs. Halsey was born in Kendallville, Indiana on December 14, 1933, to the late Ross and Grace (Gonser) Fulk. She married Delver M. Halsey and he preceded her in death on October 17, 2010. Tona was gardener at Gene Stratton Porter for many years.

Son, Craig Halsey
Daughter, Pamela Fisher
Daughter, Karen Halsey
Brother, Wayne and Donita Fulk
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Dennis D. Halsey in 1997; sister, Betty Brady and two brothers, Kenneth Fulk and Richard “Dick” Fulk.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 18, 2021, from 1:00 – 2:00 PM at Hite Funeral home.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 18, 2021, at 2:00 PM at Hite Funeral home with Pastor Ken Weaver officiating.
Burial will take place at Sparta Cemetery in Kimmell.
