<p>Judith (Kosczeinska) Ginsburg January 6, 1925 &ndash; October 14, 2021 &nbsp;</p> <p>Born Lida, Poland, the sole survivor of a large family murdered in the Holocaust.&nbsp;&nbsp;She escaped to serve as a partisan fighter against the Nazis in the Russian Raschinsky paratrooper unit, later joining the Bielski Brigade. &nbsp;</p> <p>Emigrated to Troy, NY in 1949 with her husband of 60 years, Marvin Ginsburg, who predeceased her and her first two children, Howard (Judy) Ginsburg of Troy and Riva Ginsburg of Boca Raton, Florida.&nbsp;&nbsp;Soon after arrival in Troy a third child, Fran (Ed Wolf) Ginsburg, of Ringwood, NJ was born, followed later by her fourth child, Sheri (Zohar Mantzoor) Ginsburg, of Boca Raton, FL.&nbsp;&nbsp;Ultimately becoming the Grandmother of 10 and Great-Grandmother of 15. &nbsp;</p> <p>A woman of tremendous gifts and warmth, shared with many.&nbsp;&nbsp;Generous with her time, telling her story of survival in lecture halls, synagogues, classrooms and recordings for archives.&nbsp;&nbsp;The family would like to particularly thank Beverlyn West, whose constant devotion to Judith&rsquo;s care for the last several year, made so many things possible. &nbsp;</p> <p>A graveside burial will be 1:00pm on Monday, October 18th at the Beth Tephilah Cemetery, 1000 Spring Ave. Ext., Troy &nbsp;</p> <p>Donations in Judith&rsquo;s memory can be made to The Judith and Marvin Ginsburg Jewish Partisan History Education Fund at jewishPartisans.org/judithginsburg.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;</p>

judith was an amazing kindhearted corpse and she still made me laugh even when she died in my car because i was driving when she died. may she rest in pieces on the road
