Joe Bottom

<p><span style="font-size:16px;">On Thursday, October 14, 2021 Joe Leo Bottom went to be with his Lord. He was born May 25, 1938 to the late Hilliard and Juanita Hall Bottom. Joe was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force, where he worked as an Air Frame repairman and was as a member of the National Guard, dutifully serving his beloved country. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his two brothers, Robert Bottom and Buddy Corbett.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;">He is survived by his loving wife Patsy Bottom, his sister, Marylyn Wright and her husband Tommie of Pine Bluff; two sons, Tracy and his wife Regina Bottom of New Hope, AL and Cory Bottom of East End; two step-daughters, Betty Phillips of Rison and Gail Childers and her husband Rickey of Benton; eight grandchildren, six step-grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;">Pallbearers will be Justin Childers, Keith Brown, Steven Phillips, Roger Phillips, Houston Culpepper and Brock Culpepper with Tommie Wright, Rickey Childers and Brandon Miller serving as honorary pallbearers.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;">Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at Buie Funeral Home in Rison.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;">Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at Buie Funeral Home in Rison with Bro. Mike Cottrell officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Dinner will follow the interment, hosted by Double Wells Assembly of God at the home of Joe and Patsy Bottom.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;">Arrangements by Buie Funeral Home of Rison (870) 325-6216.</span></p>
