<p><span style="font-size:16px;">On Thursday, October 14, 2021 Joe Leo Bottom went to be with his Lord. He was born May 25, 1938 to the late Hilliard and Juanita Hall Bottom. Joe was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force, where he worked as an Air Frame repairman and was as a member of the National Guard, dutifully serving his beloved country. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his two brothers, Robert Bottom and Buddy Corbett.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;">He is survived by his loving wife Patsy Bottom, his sister, Marylyn Wright and her husband Tommie of Pine Bluff; two sons, Tracy and his wife Regina Bottom of New Hope, AL and Cory Bottom of East End; two step-daughters, Betty Phillips of Rison and Gail Childers and her husband Rickey of Benton; eight grandchildren, six step-grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;">Pallbearers will be Justin Childers, Keith Brown, Steven Phillips, Roger Phillips, Houston Culpepper and Brock Culpepper with Tommie Wright, Rickey Childers and Brandon Miller serving as honorary pallbearers.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;">Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at Buie Funeral Home in Rison.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;">Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at Buie Funeral Home in Rison with Bro. Mike Cottrell officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
