Jimmy Lewis Hicks Jr., age 61, of Jefferson City, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 14, 2021 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital. He was preceded in death by his father, Rev. Jimmie Lewis Hicks, Sr.; and mother, Hazel Mae Russell. He is survived by his children, Dewayne (Jessica Renee) Hicks, Misty Southerland, and Angela “Big Ang” Southerland; grandchildren, Brandy (Nick) Holt, Austin Southerland, Summer Hicks, Jordan Hicks, and Malachi Southerland; great-grandchildren, Gracie Holt and Elliott Holt; brother, Danny (Sheila) Hicks; sister, Kathy (Paul) Warwick; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 7 – 8 p.m. Monday, October 18th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
