Maria A. (Neves) daCosta, 94, of New Bedford, passed away at home on Friday, October 15th. She was the daughter of the late Joaquim das Neves and Maria Zulmira Neves and wife of the late Jose F. daCosta. She was born in Horta, Fayal, Azores, Portugal. Maria was a devout communicant of St. Anthony of Padua Church. She worked for many years as a machine operator at Oliver Sportswear. She is survived by her daughter Helia M daCosta of Holliston and her brother Salvador Manuel Neves of Warwick, RI. Maria's Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 19th at 9:00am at St. Anthony of Padua Church with burial to follow in Pine Grove Cemetery. All are invited to join us prior to mass at the Boulevard Home at 8am for a short visitation.
