Howard Logan Hale Jr., 77, passed away peacefully on October 14, 2021, at his residence in Louisville. He was born on December 7, 1943, in Louisville, Kentucky, the son of the late Howard Sr. and Peggy Hale. Howard was a proud member of Valley View Baptist Church. He was a hardworking man, who was known around town as the “Onion Ring King”, a nickname that was given to him while working over 15 years making onion rings at Mike Linnig’s. He is survived by his sons, Kevin, Keith, Kenneth and Kirk (Nancy) Hale, sister, Marsha Hafley, brothers, William Browning and Mark Monroe, grandchildren, Kristy Hart, Alante and Avante Unser, Shawn Burton, Austin Montgomery, Kirk Jr., Christopher, and Dakota Hale, great grandchildren, Jasmine Jones, Hailey, A.J and Liam Unser.
