Janet G. Beetler, 92, passed away on Thursday, October 14, 2021 at the Apostolic Christian Home of Roanoke. Janet was born on February 25, 1929 in Peoria, IL, daughter of John F. and Bernadine (Cronan) Weisbruch. She married Earl L. “Bud” Beetler on May 20, 1950. He preceded her in death on September 23, 2010. She was also preceded in death by one grandson, Jonathon Dadds and son-in-law, Kenneth Johnson. She is survived by three daughters, Christine Robertson of Murphysboro, TN, Gail Johnson of El Paso, IL and Kathleen “Katie” (Don) Dadds of Peoria, one brother, John F. “Fritz” (Sherry) Weisbruch of East Peoria and eleven grandchildren, Michael and Kaitlyn Robertson, Kenneth (Rebecca) Johnson II, Laura, Bethany, Matthew (Kristen) and Nathan (Lindsey) Johnson, Nicholas, Elizabeth “Dolly”, Patrick and Bernadette “Bee” Dadds, as well as six great-grandchildren. Janet was a lifetime member of St. Mark’s Catholic Church. She was a 1947 graduate of the Academy of Our Lady High School in Peoria. Janet worked at Beetler’s Beauty Service from 1970 to 1993. She was a long-time volunteer for the Kickapoo Council of Girl Scouts. A Memorial Mass will be at 10:00 AM at St. Mark’s Catholic Church on Thursday, October 21, 2021 with a one hour prior visitation. Msgr. Brian Brownsey will officiate and Burial of Ashes will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Peoria. Memorials may be made to the Apostolic Christian Home of Roanoke, 1102 W. Randolph St., P.O.
