Michael G. Bodish

Michael George Bodish, on Monday, October 11, 2021, father of three children, passed away at the age of 64, in Peoria, IL. 

Mike was born February 25, 1957 in Peoria, Illinois to George and Wanda. He fathered three children: Trisha, Tyler, and Tara. He was a member of the Painters Union Local 157 for over 10 years. He dedicated his later years to helping members of his local community through support groups. Mike had a passion for movies, baseball, and music. An avid fan of the Cubs, he spent many nights at the Chiefs stadium rooting on the former farm team. He was a drummer for many years, and also enjoyed playing the harmonica. He is survived by his three children, two grandsons: Alex and Chuck, his sister Elaine, and his mother Wanda. Mike was preceded in death by his father George E. Bodish and sister Teri Caho.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 23, 2021 at St. Joseph’s cemetery located at 2105 W. Heading Ave. in West Peoria at 11am. Friends and family may sign the online guestbook by logging onto www.wrightandsalmon.com.
