Rondall Lee Rittenhouse, 79, of Jane Lew, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital in Weston. He was born in Weston on October 24, 1941, a son of the late Chester Lee Rittenhouse and Lucy Jackson Rittenhouse. In addition to his parents, Rondall was preceded in death by one son, Randall Rittenhouse; one sister, Sharon “Sue” Parker; and one brother-in-law, Denver Lesher. On October 8, 1960, Rondall married the love of his life, Velva Mildred Duncan. Together they shared the joys of marriage for 61 wonderful years. Forever cherishing their memories of Rondall are his wife, Velva Rittenhouse of Jane Lew; five children: Sherry Marsh and husband, Steve, of Jane Lew, Steven Rittenhouse and wife, Carolyn, of Jane Lew, Tracel Rittenhouse and wife, Joyce, of Clarksburg, Timothy Rittenhouse and wife, Karen, of Weston, and Vickie Rittenhouse of Jane Lew; ten grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren and one on the way; four sisters: Judy Knight and husband, Delmas, Mary Lesher, Sandy Mick and husband, Carl, and Phyllis Parker and husband, Roger; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Rondall was an over the road truck driver for Winn-Jean, Jane Lew Trucking, and Atha Trucking. He was a member of Message of Light Tabernacle. In his spare time, Rondall enjoyed bird watching, reading the bible, and watching his favorite T.V. shows. He was also an avid Nascar collector. Graveside Services will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 16, 2021. Interment will follow.
