Anthony Garner

Mr. Anthony Garner was born June 11, 1958 in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, the son of Jessie Lee and Fronie Lee Garner. He went from labor to reward on Thursday, October 14, 2021 at the age of 63. Anthony moved to Saginaw at an early age and attended Saginaw Public Schools. He attended Jones Elementary, Central Junior High and Saginaw High School. Anthony was a member of Place of Worship Apostolic Faith Church. His Pastors are Steven D. Clark and Esther Clark. Anthony loved dancing and spending time with his family and friends. He was a very caring person and was always willing to lend a helping hand. Anthony had a lot of family, friends and nicknames. Regardless of what you called him, his loving and cheerful personality was always the same. Anthony, Amp, Geno, Gardner will truly be missed by all who knew him. He leaves to celebrate his life one daughter, Dominique Wiarek; two grandsons, Paul and Trayvon Schmidt of Sheboygan, Wisconsin, mother, Fronie L. Garner, Saginaw, Michigan; seven brothers, Eugene (Ruth) Garner of Marietta, Georgia, Eldred Williams of Riverview, Florida, Leroy (Mary Ann) Garner of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Alfonzo (Linda) Garner, Cassial (Sarah) Garner, Matthew (Shekita) Garner, all of Saginaw, Michigan; Rueben (Nikki) Garner of Tulsa, Oklahoma; seven sisters, Betty Robinson, Jessie Wilson, Debra Garner of Saginaw, Michigan. Diane Scott and Elaine Garner of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Josephine (Phillip) Moore of Lansing, Michigan, and Esther (Steven) Clark of Saginaw, Michigan; a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends including special friends, Deon Wiley and the Wiley Family, the Grayson Family and the Nevitt Family.
