Obituary

Kevin Jacob Marcoccia Durham 08/21/1964 – 10/12/2021

Kevin was the perfect balance of kindness and impossibility, which always left me saying “That is just Kevin”.  Kevin found enjoyment in quiet time, and he loved to find ways to enjoy himself. He always believed life was only as hard as you make it.  He was very good at living in the moment and not holding onto things. As a result of that he could find a way to always be happy where he was. His passion was computers and he spent many hours building and repairing them. He took great pride in being the computer MD. He enjoyed nature, camping, and fishing. As a young man Kevin found a family he loved dearly, they were some of the first people to see his potential and to love him unconditionally. For this, I would like to thank the Liang family. Kevin took Great pride in helping to raise the two children Cheyenne and Anthony. They were always loved and admired by Kevin.

Kevin had a special bond with his two brothers Frank and Paul. They really were the three Amigos.

Kevin worked at Cerro Wire and cable for many years, and after quitting there, he was excited to have his first computer job with Excela in Salt Lake City.  He took the most pride in the final job he held with the IRS. Kevin loved his coworkers and always spoke of how amazing working there was. I want to thank his team there for all the love and support they gave him. Kevin was also a crossing guard for North Ogden Police Department. He enjoyed his time doing that before and after school.

Kevin was one of a kind and I can’t imagine the world without him in it, he was always joking and kidding. I can hear him saying “Finally, Kevin time with no interruptions.”  Enjoy your time, Kevin until those who love you here meet you again.

Kevin is survived by his wife Heather Durham, his daughter Amanda Twitchell, two brothers Frank (Carol) Durham of Arizona and Tolford Paul (Cathy) Durham. New Hampshire.  He was preceded in death by his Mother Lynette Reynolds, Father Tolford Durham, and sister Debbie Headlee.

As per Kevin’s request, there will be no service held.
