Wanda Smith

Wanda Hagan Smith, age 58 of Douglasville, Georgia, passed away on October 14, 2021. She was born December 4, 1962, in Carrollton, Georgia to Charlsie League and the late Bobby Hagan. She was formerly employed by the Arrow Shirt Company/PVH Corporation in the Payroll Department. She enjoyed crocheting, traveling, fishing and camping. Wanda was an avid fan of the Atlanta Braves, Georgia Bulldogs, and NASCAR racing. She was a 1980 graduate of Mt. Zion High School. She was of the Baptist Faith and a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. Wanda is survived by her husband, Gerald Smith to whom she was married to for 33 years. She is also survived by her mother, Charlsie League of Temple, Georgia; sisters, Rebecca and Mike Moore SR of Temple, Georgia and Lynn and Mark Maloney SR of South Fulton, Tennessee. She is also survived by eight nieces and nephews, and a number of great nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be conducted Saturday, October 16, 2021 at 1:00 PM from Carroll Memory Gardens with Reverend Paul Williams officiating. The family will receive friends at Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel on Saturday, October 16, 2021 from 11:00 PM until 1:00 PM. Those serving as pallbearers will be Michael Moore JR, Chris Bell, Philip Spake, Preston Spake, Ryan Spake, and Josh Smith. Flowers will be accepted but for those who desire, monetary contributions may be made in her honor to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org .
