<p>Holden-Richard B. Guild, 61, formerly of Berlin, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 surrounded by his family and friends, after a courageous 23 month battle with pancreatic cancer.&nbsp; He is survived by his soulmate Denise Gardner; her children, Brett &amp; Megan Gardner, Renee &amp; Andy Dolliver, and his brother, Robert Guild, Jr.&nbsp; He was the adored “Papa D” to Liam and Alice, proud godfather of Natasha Peltak, loving brother-in-law of Theresa Smith and Robert Denoncourt. Also survived by nieces, cousins, many friends, notably the “Magnificent 7.”&nbsp; He is pre-deceased by his sister Janice Guild. </p><p>Raised in Berlin, Dicky was the son of the late Robert &amp; </p><p>Jean Guild.&nbsp; He graduated from Assabet Valley Regional Technical High School in 1978.&nbsp; Dicky spent his professional career as a master carpenter with Stokes Woodworking in Hudson for more than thirty years.&nbsp; In addition, he enjoyed bartending at the Maynard Country Club, Sully’s and the Prospector.&nbsp; Dicky coordinated countless events for charity and brought Christmas joy to all as “Santa” each holiday season.&nbsp; He was a member of the Marlborough Fraternal Order of Eagles, an avid outdoorsman, and a true lumberman at heart.&nbsp; Burial will be held privately in North Cemetery, Berlin, under the direction of Philbin-Comeau Funeral Home, 176 Water St., Clinton.&nbsp; In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Janice and Dicky Guild Scholarship Fund, c/o Susan Seed, 26 Willow St., Clinton, MA 01510.&nbsp; Online condolences may be placed at www.philbincomeaufh.com&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; </p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p>
