Donald E. Kramer

Donald E. Kramer, 84, of Fayetteville, passed away on Thursday, October 14, 2021 at the Chambersburg Hospital. Born August 29, 1937 in Chambersburg, he was the son of the late Crawford and Sarah Peters Kramer. His beloved wife, Helen M. Kramer, whom he married on May 18, 1957, preceded him in death on July 13, 2014. Donald was a graduate of CASHS. Early in his life he was employed at Penn DOT and the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission. He spent the last 28 years of his career working for the Pennsylvania House of Representatives. He was a life member and charter member of the Fayetteville Volunteer Fire Company and enjoyed hunting, fishing and Civil War history. He is survived by his son, Donald E. Kramer, Jr. of Fayetteville; step-grandson, Michael Barnhart; and step-great granddaughter, Samantha Barnhart. In addition to his wife and parents, Donald was preceded in death by his brother, Carl Kramer. Services will be private. Interment will be in Lincoln Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Chambersburg, PA.
