Frances Leon Albright

Frances Leon Albright, 98, of Winchester, VA, passed away Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at Green Valley Commons in Winchester. Frances was born January 5, 1923 in Doddridge County, WV the daughter of the late Harley and Ruth Leasure. She married Orvil G. Albright January 19, 1948 in Brunswick, MD. She was devoted to her family and enjoyed reading in her free time. She is survived by her daughters; Geraldine A. Wilber (Larry) of Strasburg, VA, Mary A. Ruble (Rennie) of Winchester, Debby Albright (Billy Richard) of Middletown, VA, brother; Harold R. Leasure of Weirton, WV, 10 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 19 great great grandchildren with one more due in February 2022. Along with her husband, Orvil, Frances was preceded in death by her son; Thomas R. Albright Sr., and sisters; Florence Willis and Zelma Ross. The family will receive friends Monday, October 18, 2021 at Jones Funeral Home in Winchester from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Shenandoah Memorial Park with Dr. Rev. Bill Wade officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Blue Ridge Hospice. The family would like to thank Green Valley Commons for their exceptional care of their mother.
