Robert "Bobby" Caldwell Finley 85, of Port Isabel, Texas passed away Friday October 8, 2021. Robert spent his early years in Memphis before the family relocated to Florida. Robert's mother signed off on his early entrance into the US Marine Corp where he took advantage of schooling opportunities in the electrical field. After four years of the military life, Bob began his career with Florida Power and Light that lasted 36 years. Bob and Lynn met and married in Florida and the two were inseparable from the start. Retirement took them to Missouri where they raised Tennessee Walking Horses and ran a small greenhouse business together. Their final retirement location became Port Isabel Park Center where Bob was a fixture of both the community and church. He is preceded in death by 3 sisters: Doris Finley, Dorothy Finley, and Janice Kirk, daughter: Evelyn Mae Finley, from previous marriage, and son: Charles Robert Finley, from previous marriage. Robert is survived by his wife: Shiela “Lynn” Finley, grandchild: Robert Gordon Finley, grandchildren: David, Wyatt, Garett, Hunter, Tressa, Dallas, and Gunner.
