James Kesterson

James “Randy” Kesterson, 56 of Casa Grande, Arizona passed away peacefully in his home on 10/12/21 surrounded by his family after a long battle with Cancer. Randy Kesterson was a 1984 Graduate of Midview High School in Grafton, Ohio. He served in the United States Air Force in medical services/ Medic after completing his High School education and went on to graduate as a Registered Nurse from the Lutheran Medical Center School of Nursing, St. Louis, MO. He completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from American Sentinel University, Aurora, CO. He had recently retired after 15 years of federal service from the Southern AZ VA Healthcare system in Tucson-where he worked at the Casa Grande VA Clinic caring for our Nation’s Veterans. He is survived by his spouse, John Burkey of Casa Grande, Sister Sherry Kesterson of Casa Grande, Nephews Michael Kesterson (Rebecca) of Greeneville, TN and Ricky Riddle (Carrie) of Lawrenceburg, TN and an aunt, Charlotte Dominick of Ohio. He is preceded in death by his parents, Gene H. and Barbara J. Kesterson, brothers, Ricky Lewis and Michael Gene and Sister Alisa Michelle Kesterson (Cole). He asked that a special thanks be extended for the excellent care that he received from the Tucson VA as well as all the doctors, nurses and staff at Alliance Cancer Care Center in Casa Grande, Arizona. Burial will be at Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon, Ohio. Services will be held at J Warren in Casa Grande, AZ Gardens Chapel, on October 16, 2021 at 4:30 pm.
