David I Gordon
<p>David Ira Gordon, 77, of Freehold Township, NJ, passed away on Oct 12, 2021. David was born in Brooklyn, NY however resided in Lynbrook, NY, Flushing, NY, and Jackson, NJ, but called Howell, NJ his home for the past 20+ years, only recently relocating to Freehold, NJ. David was retired however, he started his career as an automotive mechanic and then went on to own and operate a jewelry manufacturing business specializing in engagement rings and wedding bands. Before retiring David worked in automotive sales. </p> <p>David had a warm spirit and a one of a kind sense of humor. He was gifted with hands that allowed him to create and fix. He enjoyed watching football, (the Jets were his favorite team) gardening, cars, fishing, boating, and spending time with his family.</p> <p>David is survived by his three children; Jason Gordon, Richard Gordon and Amie Smith; their spouses; Jeini Gordon, Shannon Gordon and Karl Smith; his former wife Bonnie Gordon; his eight grandchildren; Shawn Gordon, Camilla Gordon, Rebecca Gordon, Deisha Buffington, Misha Buffington, Samuel Buffington, Aubrey Smith, and Everly Smith. </p> <p>A celebration of life will be held on Oct 24, 2021 from 5pm-8pm at the Colts Neck Fire Company #2, 50 Conover Road, Colts Neck NJ, 07722. David’s family welcomes anyone who wishes to celebrate his life to join them.
