<p>Richard &ldquo;Richie&rdquo; C. Coffey, 39, of Lakewood, NJ, went home to the Lord suddenly on Monday, September 27, 2021. Richie was born in Pasan, Korea, living in Long Island, NY before moving to Ocean County in 1987. He graduated from Rowan University with a B.A. in Business/Communications. Richie worked at Signs by the Sea as Production Manager for many years. Richard was a gentle soul with a kind heart. His smile and laugh warmed those who shared his life. Richie was a huge fan of the Mets and the Giants. He enjoyed playing golf and disc golf. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Joan and George Perina, and his father William Coffey. Richie will be forever missed by his loving mother Marian (Perina) Coffey, his sister and her husband Katherine and Michael Horigan, his bestfriend Dan Mac, and all of his relatives and many friends. The family will receive relatives and friends for a Memorial Gathering on Saturday, November 6, 2021 from 12pm to 2pm at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 St. Catherine Blvd., Toms River, NJ. A Funeral Service will be celebrated at 2pm at the funeral home. Condolences may be expressed by visiting www.ryanfuneralhome.com.</p>
