Saundra Faye Childers - Snowden

Saundra Faye Childers-Snowden, 74, widow of Theodore Collis, passed away Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at her residence. She was born on June 15, 1947 in Clark County to the late William P. and Margaret Cole Johnstone Childers. She was a retired from Leggett and Platt where she worked for 38 years as the office manager. She was a member of Northeast Christian Church. She was a board member and volunteer at the Beacon of Hope and was member of the Eastern Stars. She is survived by a daughter Paula Adelfio, sons Jonathan (Michelle) Snowden and Patrick (Sandee) Collis. Grandchildren; Brittany, Zachary, Lauren, Alli, Tyler and Mackenzie. Great Grandchildren; Piper, Kyler, Michael Ray II and a brother, James M. (Mary Lou) Childers. Several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Monday, October 18, 2021 at Scobee Funeral Home by Pastor Greg Horn with burial following in the Winchester Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Paul Adelfio, Kevin Childers, Tyler Collis, Mackenzie Collis, Zachary Snowden and Michael Baker. Honorary Pallbearers are Brittany Snowden – Adelfio, Lauren Adelfio, Alli Collis, Michelle and Allen Bradford.   Visitation will be 4:00 to 6:00 PM, Sunday.   In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Beacon of Hope Emergency Shelter 850 Bypass Road Winchester, KY. 40391 or Hospice East 407 Shoppers Drive Winchester, KY. 40391
