<p>Click here to view service.</p><p><br></p><p>WILLIAMSON, Bryan Christopher</p><p><br></p><p>Passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 12, 2021, at his residence, New Hamburg, Ontario. Bryan was born 67 years ago, on March 21, 1954, in Toronto, Ontario and has been a long-time resident of New Hamburg. </p><p><br></p><p>Beloved husband of 41 years to Nancy Williamson (nee. Dart). Loving father of Haly King and husband David, and Ross Williamson. Proud grandfather of Lizzy King. Bryan is survived by his mother Marilyn Williamson (nee. Pond), mother-in-law Jean Dart, brother Jeremy Williamson and by his nieces, nephews, and friends. Bryan is predeceased by his father James “Jim” Williamson and father-in-law Bill Dart. </p><p><br></p><p>Bryan was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, dog-dad and friend. He was a long-time mechanical engineer who worked on a range of alternative fuel-powered cars, as well as planes and radar. He counted among his proudest professional accomplishments working with the Big Four automotive companies in Detroit. He was a lover of auto-racing, the Toronto Blue Jays, CNN, being silly with his dog and playing with his granddaughter. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him. </p><p><br></p><p>Cremation has taken place. Relatives and friends are invited to the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron Street, New Hamburg, on Sunday, October 17, 2021, for memorial visitation in the chapel of the funeral home from 12:00 noon – 2:00 p.m. A memorial service officiated by Rev. Bob Thaler will take place following the visitation at 2:00 p.m. A livestream will be available to watch at the time of the service. </p><p><br></p><p>Those wishing to attend the visitation and or service MUST RSVP on the funeral home website or by contacting the funeral home, 519-662-1661. Mask must be worn, and social distancing must be followed, please do not enter the funeral home if you are feeling unwell. </p><p><br></p><p>In lieu of flowers, and as expressions of sympathy, donations to the Covenant House or the Center for Healing and Hope would be greatly appreciated by the family. </p><p><br></p><p>Personal condolences and donation information available at www.markjutzifuneralhomes.ca</p>
