Maria “Lolita” Dolores Diaz, 69, of South Bend, passed away surrounded by family at 4:45 p.m., Wednesday, October 13, 2021 in her home. She was born April 5, 1952, in La Manchada, Momax, ZAC., Mexico to Donaciano Mota Sanchez and MA (Maria) Santos Villalobos Alvarez. Lola Mota Villalobos was born on April 5, 1952 at the La Manchada ranch, Momax, Zacatecas Mexico. She married on September 17, 1982 to her husband, Juan, who she loved very much. In 39 years of marriage together, they achieved a family of five children, four girls and a boy, whose names are Cristina, Araceli, Lorena, Gerardo and Elizabeth. She was an exemplary woman who always wanted the best for her family. She had beautiful qualities and was known for her great and noble heart. She was a humble, loving, caring, kind and hospitable woman. Lola enjoyed many activities, some of her favorites were cooking, planting and caring for her plants or flowers and spending time with her family. She really enjoyed looking at nature. Lola was loved by all her family and her acquaintances. Lola was also someone who achieved a good name before God. She studied his word in recent years and dedicated her life to him. She had a very fixed hope in Acts 24:15 where it mentions "there is going to be a resurrection" a promise that she shared with her family and friends. Lola Mota Villalobos nació el 5 de Abril de 1952 en el rancho La Manchada, Momax, Zacatecas México. Se casó el 17 de Septiembre de 1982 con su esposo Juan a quién ella amo mucho. En 39 años de matrimonio juntos lograron una familia de cinco hijos cuatro mujeres y un varon cuáles los nombres son Cristina, Araceli, Lorena, Gerardo y Elizabeth. Ella fue una mujer ejemplar que siempre quería lo mejor para su familia. Tenía bonitas cualidades y se le conocía por su grande y noble corazón, era una mujer humilde, amorosa, cariñosa, amable y hospitalaria. Ella disfrutaba de muchas actividades algunas de sus favoritas eran cocinar, plantar y cuidar sus plantas o flores, pasar tiempo con su familia. Algo que disfrutaba mucho era mirar la naturaleza. Ella era querida por toda su familia y conocidos Lola fue también alguien quién se logró un buen nombre ante Dios, estudio su palabra los últimos años y le dedicó su vida. Ella tenía bien fija la esperanza de Hechos 24:15 donde menciona "va haber una resurrección" una promesa que ella compartía con sus familiares y amigos. Surviving are her husband, Juan Diaz of South Bend; five children, Cristina (Heladio) Mota, Aracely (Jaime) Alvarez, Lorena (Jose R.) Garcia, Elizabeth (Jose M.) Romero and Gerardo (Maribel) Diaz all of South Bend; twelve grandchildren, Diego Mota, Brenda Alvarez, Marisol Mota, Jocelyn Garcia, Nohemi Alvarez, Elian Garcia, Emilet Romero, Mia Anadali Romero, Valeria Mota, Sarahy Garcia, Adrian Alvarez, Natalie Garcia; three sisters, Guillermina Mota Villalobos, Ma Auxilio Mota Villalobos and Ma de Jesus Mota Villalobos; three brothers, Jesus Maria Mota Villalobos, Salvador Mota Villalobos and Ignacio Mota Villalobos. Preceeding in death were her mother; one grandchild, Andrea Romero; and one sister, Margarita Mota Villalobos. A funeral celebrating her life will be held at 7 p.m., Saturday, October 23, 2021 at Lakeview Funeral Home & Crematory, 247 W. Johnson Rd., La Porte (219) 362-3100 with Alejandro Raygoza officiating. Visitation and viewing will be held from 4 p.m. until time of service Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Panteon de Juanacatic, Zac. Mexico.
