Vincent Greer Leiter, 26, passed away unexpectedly on October 11, 2021.  He had recently been diagnosed with Leukemia and had a positive outlook and a fighting spirit.  A 2013 graduate of Cuyahoga Falls High School, he was active in marching band, Symphonic Band, and Gold Tones.  He attended Kent State University and studied Fashion Merchandising for two years.  Following his dreams, he then attended Paul Mitchell hair school to become a hair stylist.  He loved creating with his hands and using his skills to make people feel beautiful. A gentle and spiritual soul, he always wanted to leave things better than he found them.  His passions included cats, especially his black cat Richard; music, especially live shows and concerts;  the season of fall and Halloween; connecting with nature whether on hikes or at the family farm in West Virginia and Moosecall in Canada, and spending time with family and friends.
 
Vince was preceded in death by his grandmother, Claudia Oser.  He leaves behind his broken-hearted parents Ray and Jodi Leiter; his siblings, Jillian (Kevin) Kelleher, Becca (Emily) Leiter, and Josh Leiter; his grandparents,  Bob and Jeannie Leiter, and James Oser; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, a loving extended family, and many friends.

Calling hours will take place at Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221 on Friday, Oct. 22 from 5-8 pm.  A memorial service will take place on Oct. 23 at noon also at the funeral home. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Vince's name to the Leukemia and Lymphoma society or the Cuyahoga Falls Marching Band (c/o the IMP at 2300 4th St.  Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221).
