It is with great sadness that the Shandilay Family announces the passing of their beloved Tanmay Shandilay.

Tanmay Shandilay, 21, of Closter, NJ passed away on Wednesday, October 13, 2021. He was born September 1, 2000, in Queens, New York. Tanmay is a graduate of Northern Valley Demarest High School where he played the offensive and defensive line of his football team. Tanmay was a corporate trainer at Gotham Elite Marketing and had a variety of hobbies. Tanmay is survived by his parents, Shallu and Yogesh Shandilay, his sister, Sukirti Shandilay; his grandmothers, Kamlesh Shandilay and Rajni Taneja. He is also survived by his aunts and uncles; Mahesh and Kusum, Ashutosh and Meenakshi, Abhishek and Chastity Shandilay, Aashu and Harsha Taneja, Pooja and Shyam Mohan Chauhan, Manju and Ramesh Sharma in addition to his cousins Uttkarsh, Chavi, Ridhi, Aaryan, Leeshanth, Divisha, Aditi, Akhilta, Asmi, Suyash, Anshuman, and Dhirta. Tanmay was loved by many friends and family.

We pray to God for his departed soul to rest in eternal peace and give strength to the family members to bear the loss of their beloved Tanmay.
