<p>Robert H. Eddy, 91, of Swansea, passed away on Monday, October 11, 2021 at the Fall River Health Care Center.&nbsp; He was the husband of thirty-one years to Jane (Hodgkinson) Davis-Eddy Robert was born in Fall River the son of the late Lloyd and Grace (Houghton) Eddy. Mr. Eddy served his country in the United States Coast Guard during Korean War.&nbsp; Robert would go onto to work for the Barnstable County Sheriff&rsquo;s Office as the Director of Communications and Deputy Sheriff until his retirement in 1990. He was a member of the First Christian Congregational Church in Swansea, a member to the Free Mason&rsquo;s and Shriner&rsquo;s Organizations.</p> <p>Robert was a former member of the Marine Lodge A.F &amp; A.M, the Watuppa Lodge A.F. &amp; A.M. He was also a member of the Massachusetts Deputy Sheriff&rsquo;s Association.</p> <p>Mr. Eddy is also survived by his daughter: Kristine Ann Eddy of Falmouth;&nbsp; two sons: Douglas Robert Eddy of Melbourne, FL and Jeffery Lloyd Eddy of Minnesota; three step-sons: Alvin Davis of North Las Vegas, NV, John Davis of Warwick and Andrew Davis of York, PA; Five grand-daughters: Amy Davis of St George, UT, Cheryl Parr of Warwick, Erin Wright of Lansdale, PA, Caitlin Davis of FL and Natalie Davis of York, PA: Five great-grandchildren: Daniel &amp; Izzabella Parr, Cameron Wright and Lyla &amp; Nyla Alexander ; a sister: Carolyn Esterbrooks of Eastham; along with many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late John L. Eddy and Marjorie Walkden.</p> <p>Calling Hours for Mr. Eddy will be held on Monday, October 18, 2021 from 10am to 12noon with a Masonic Service starting at 11:45am and a Funeral Service beginning at 12noon in the Hathaway Community Home for Funerals, 900 Buffinton Street, Somerset. Relatives and friends are invited to attend, burial to follow with Military Honors in Mount Hope Cemetery Swansea.&nbsp; Memorial donations in his memory can be made to The Overlook Attn: Business Office 88 Masonic Home Road, Charlton, MA 01507</p> <p>Mask wearing is encouraged.</p>
