Chris Haire

Chris John Haire, 51, of Monroe, NC passed away on October 13, 2021. Born in Patterson, New Jersey, he was the son of the late William “Bill” Haire and Sharon McCloud Haire. He is survived by his wife, Caroline; son, Kevin and wife Miranda, son, Austin and wife Ashlyn; bonus children, Blake Hassenplug and Brittany Hassenplug; and 6 beautiful grandchildren. He was a long-time employee of Teledyne/Allvac in Monroe. His passion, however, remained with his longest job at Carolina Audio in Monroe as a car audio technician. Not too many can say they love their job the way Chris did. He truly enjoyed working alongside his friends, doing what he loved the most. When Chris wasn’t enjoying himself at work, he liked to spend his time riding his Harley, traveling with his wife, and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was a bourbon connoisseur, and enjoyed sharing a glass with anyone from the best of friends to a total stranger. Above all else he loved to talk! His quick witty humor, knowledge of almost any subject, and life experiences made for some of the best conversations. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3:30pm on Sunday, October 17, 2021 at Pleasant Plains Baptist Church, 3316 Pleasant Plains Rd, Matthews, NC 28105. The family will receive friends from 2:00pm until 3:15pm prior to the service at the church. Holland Funeral Service is serving the Haire Family.
