Carla Marek, 80, passed away August 31, 2021. She was born September 21, 1940 in Houston, Texas, to Raymond and Ora (Clemons) Lewis. She was raised in Houston, graduating from Lamar High School. She had a 60 year career as an artist, and enjoyed sailing, arts & crafts, and decorating. She loved animals, especially cats, and had many pets over her life. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Tom Lewis. She is survived by her two children, David and Heather Marek; daughter-in-law Susan Marek; and grandchildren, Sean & Justin Marek. A memorial service will be held Friday, November 5, 2021 at 11am, at Holy Trinity Parish in Bremerton.
