Transito Max Manzanares passed away, at the Beehive Home in Payson, Utah on October 10, 2021, of Natural causes at the age of 93. Family surrounded him as he peacefully took his last breath. He was born on June 8, 1928, to Jose Belarmino Manzanares and Bernardina Gonzales in Fort Collins, Colorado. He married the love of his life, Angelina Roybal and they we married 68 years up until her death on July 6, 2016. He spent his career working in Commercial Construction attributing his talents to the community such as Utah Valley Hospital, VA Hospital, several JC Penney stores, etc. He was a Jack of all trades and would help anyone with building anything, pouring cement, landscaping, and repairing cars. He was the first one to lend a hand and supervise us all. In his earlier years, he was an avid hunter always returning home with a deer. He loved camping with family and friends. He was the one to always gather the wood. He grew a garden every year and shared his Anaheim peppers, tomatoes, and Red delicious apples with everyone. He had such a gentle spirit. He always left a big impression on everyone. There was never any one he met that didn't like him. After retirement, he and Angelina spent their years as snowbirds traveling for 25+ years to Yuma, AZ and various places enjoying their motor home and the sunny weather. He is survived by son Thomas (Lee) Manzanares, daughter Darlene (Lynn) Wiberg, son Rick (Chris) Manzanares and daughter Linda Nichols, 13 grandchild, 23 great grandchildren 6 great great grandchildren. He was proceeded in death by his wife Angelina Manzanares, father, mother, sister Delphina Colunga, brother Joe Manzanares and son in-law Randy Nichols. We would like to give a special thanks to the Beehive Home and Yarrow Hospice for the loving care they provided to Transito. A viewing will be held at Nelson Family Mortuary, 4780 N University Ave, Provo UT, on Friday October 15, 2021 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. There will be an open mic from 7:00-8:00 pm for any of those who would like to give a tribute to Transito. A graveside service will take place at Provo City Cemetery on Saturday October 16, 2021 at 10:30 am Meaningful Gift Ideas
