Dalton Kade Buchanan, 26, of Muskogee, Oklahoma passed away on Monday, October 11, 2021 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma.

Dalton was born in Tahlequah, Oklahoma on September 23, 1995, the son of Kenneth Buchanan and Brandy Shackelford. Dalton went to school at Fort Gibson High School. He married Laken Luellen Buchanan at Elm Grove Assembly on December 02, 2018.

His best friend and the love of his life, his wife, Laken, The two met through a mutual friend in early 2015 and from that moment became inseparable. They added to their family of two that became a family of four. Two children, Kamden 3 and Amberlee 2, for the perfect family that meant the world to Dalton.

Dalton loved to go to the casinos every chance he could. He loved to scavenger hunt and find things for hours. He like to work on his truck. He like to move around a lot and not stay in one place too long. He like to visit and hang out with family and friends. Dalton was a likable guy and easily made a number of friends
and some he even considered family no matter where he went.

Survivors include his wife: Laken Luellen Buchanan; son: Kamden, and daughter: Amberlee Buchanan; parents: Kenneth Buchanan and Brandy Shackelford; siblings: Kyrra McQueen, Wyatt Shackelford, Shelby Smith, Savanna and Ryan Parr; brother-in-laws: Brandan and Robert Luellen, and Robbie, Cody and Perry Butler; Parent-in-laws: Bill and Kristal Butler, and Jason and Letha Wright; granny-in-law: Joann Kemp; nephew: Elijah Parr; paternal grandma: Cheryl Morris; maternal grandfather: Floyd Shackelford; nanny: Elaine Risenhoover; auntie: Itchie; special cousins: Ethan and Karsin Baty; also with a host of other family members and friends.
