<p>Evelyn Joyce Wells, 86, of Hazel Green, went to be with our Lord on Tuesday, October 12, 2021.</p> <p> </p> <p>Evelyn was born and lived in the Toney, New Market, and Hazel Green areas all her life. She retired from Bentley Pontiac where she worked as a bookkeeper for over 20 years. </p> <p> </p> <p>Evelyn's joys in life were her family and her church. She was a member of Home Mission Baptist Church, and she loved fellowship with her church family. She was a big Alabama fan and loved watching Alabama football.</p> <p> </p> <p>She was preceded in death by her parents, William Frank Ary, Sr. and Myrtle Sanders Ary; sisters, Pearl Warren, Wilton McClure, and Frankie Stone; brothers J.D. Ary, William Frank Ary, Jr, Robert Ary, and J.G. Ary.</p> <p> </p> <p>Surviving family members include daughters, Sherry Ary and Pam Lanford (Bobby); son, Charles Yarbrough (Stephanie); sisters, Willie E. Billions and Barbara Montgomery; brother, Jerry W. Ary; grandchildren, Carla Hardin, Melissa Smith (Shannon), Amanda Walls (Joe), and Shannon Daniel (Jason). She is also survived by several grandchildren, great- grandchildren, great- great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.</p> <p> </p> <p>Visitation with the family will be Saturday, October 16th from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Hazel Green Funeral Home. Services will be held at 1:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Brother Frankie Osmer officiating. Burial will follow in Gatlin Cemetery, Ardmore, Alabama.</p> <p> </p> <p>Hazel Green Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.</p>August 11, 1935 - October 12, 202108/11/193510/12/2021
