Dolores "Dolly" Elaine Gormley
<p><span style="font-size:28px;">Dolores "Dolly" Elaine Gormley of Avondale, Pennsylvania passed away at home on Wednesday, October 13, 2021. She was 90 years old. </span></p> <p><span style="font-size:28px;">Born in Chicago, Illinois, she was the daughter of Ernest and Alice Kolsrud Nordstrom.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:28px;">Dolly was the beloved mother of Eileen Gormley Rule {John}; grandmother of Rachael Rule. She was predeceased by siblings, Marilyn Johnston and Robert G. Nordstrom. Dolly was the former wife of Wayne "Hap" Gormley.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:28px;">Dolly was a Golden Member (50yr) of Glenolden Congregational church where she served as deacon and sang in the church. She also sang in the Ridley and West Chester Community Chorus'.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:28px;">A viewing will be from 6:00PM until 8:00PM on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at the <strong>LONGWOOD FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION of MATTHEW GENEREUX</strong>, 913 East Baltimore Pike, Kennett Square, Pennsylvania. A graveside service will be at 11:00AM on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at <strong>UNION HILL CEMETERY</strong>, Route 82, Kennett Square, Pennsylvania. A Celebration of Life service will be at 11:00AM on Saturday, November 6, 20201 at <strong>Glenolden Congregational Church</strong>, 115 S. Scott Ave., Glenolden, PA.
