Nicholas Garvey, 19 of Ocean Springs, MS, passed away on October 10, 2021. Nicholas was born on May 6, 2002 in Pascagoula , MS. He graduated from Ocean Springs High School with the class of 2021. He graduated with an Advanced Degree, High Honors and two scholarships. He was the only senior to receive a Certificate of Achievement in Choir. He had two years of Culinary Arts training and was to start Culinary School in the Fall. He was currently attending Mississippi Gulf Coast community college. Nicholas' mother was very proud of her son and he worked hard to pay his own way. He was to start a new job at a Hibachi restaurant. His generation of young adults will be able to handle anything - they started Kindergarten as this Community was rebuilding after Hurricane Katrina and ended their school journey with the most unusual school year due to the Pandemic. Nicholas will be dearly missed by his family and friends. He leaves behind to Cherish his memory, his mother and stepfather, Kathy and Greg Hofling; his father, Gregory D. Garvey, Jr.; his grandparents; Linda McWilliams Young and Jerry Young, Diana Garvey, Rose Garvey, and Iris and Gregory Hofling, Sr.; his siblings, Amberlin R. Garvey-McWilliams, William Garvey, Zackery (Jessica) Hofling, Amanda (Kevin) Curet, Samantha Springgate, and Kayla Hofling; his nieces, Lillian, Cambria, Olivia, and Saylon; his nephews, Ezekiel, Gabriel, and Xavier, his aunts and uncles, Julie (Cusin) Garvey, Beth (Jayden) Garvey, Lisa Dodez, Roy Dodez, and Corbin Dodez, and numerous friends.

Nicholas was preceded in death by his grandparents, Larry McWilliams and Greg Garvey, Sr.
