Carl Edward Archer Sr., 89, of Ringgold passed away Wednesday, October 13, 2021.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Emery and Mabel; brother, Charles. He is also preceded by his loving wife of 55 years Janie; grandson, Travis and special son-in-law, Don.

He is survived by children; Gerald and Kathy Blevins, Rhonda Stanfield, Carl Archer Jr., Susan “Becky” Archer, and Mary Jane Archer. He is also survived by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren; Dalton and Michelle Blevins (Jessy and Jenna), Tony (Jessica) Stanfield, Meagan Stanfield, and Jodi and D.J. Seiber (Luna), Noah and Haylee Blevins (Georgia, Crue and Travis), Gavin Long and Aiden Long; niece and nephew, Nat Archer and Alice Archer (Felicia).
