Van Thi Duong Obituary

Van Thi Duong, 66, passed away at Saint Memorial Hospital on October 10, 2021. She was born in My Tho, Vietnam, on September 20, 1955, and was the daughter of the late Muoi Van Vuong and the late Sau Thi Le. She came to the United States in 1995 and eventually became a US citizen. She was a loving mother and a strong-willed woman. She liked to watch hai kich and cai luong with her children. One of our best memories with her was when we all laughed so hard that we fell to the floor. She always tried cooking new recipes from television shows. She liked to take walks around the neighborhood. She gave the warmest hugs. She enjoyed making steamed buns and egg rolls for her kids. Whenever we bought her favorite foods, she would do her happy dance. She is survived by her two children, Hong Le and Hanh Le, and her husband, Hai Van Le, her sister Hai Thi Le, and her nieces and nephew, and Ba Chin’s family. Friends will be received at the Morse-Bayliss Funeral Home, 122 Princeton Blvd., Lowell, on Thursday, from 5 to 7 PM. Service at the Funeral Home on Friday at 9 AM followed by procession to Edson Cemetery, Lowell.
