Ninfa "Jackie" Dennis

Mass of Christian Burial for Ninfa “Jackie” (Garcia) Dennis, 92, of Wickliffe, will be at 10 AM Saturday, October 16, 2021 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 29850 Euclid Ave., Wickliffe. (Please meet at the church)

The amily will receive friends 4-8 PM Friday at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Ave., Willoughby.

Jackie passed away October 13, 2021 at Hospice House in Cleveland.

Born August 18, 1929 in Brownsville, Texas, she lived in Cleveland before moving to Wickliffe 57 years ago.

Jackie was a homemaker and loved being with her family. She was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church and enjoyed shopping and talking with people.

Jackie was well cared for by the nursing staff at Kirtland Rehabilitation, formerly known as Golden Living Center, for more than 11 years. We appreciate you making her part of your family.

Survivors include her children, Bobby (canine companion, Laddie) Dennis, Debbie (Bob) Sheplavy, and Sharon (Mike) Bellissimo; granddaughter, Alyssa (Dylan Reid) Bellissimo and her brother, Roberto (Eugenia) Garcia Jr; siblings-in-law, Shirley and Ralph Beatty, Sam and Wilma Phillips, Joyce Dennis, and Vickie Dennis. She also leaves behind nieces and nephews and their families.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert “Hank” Dennis in 2008; parents, Roberto and Aurora (Herrera) Garcia; parents-in-law, Harry and Eliza (McFadden) Dennis; brother, Valentine (Florinda) Garcia. Her siblings-in-law, Gib and Patty Dennis and Don and Pete Dennis are also deceased.

Final resting place will be in Knollwood Cemetery, Mayfield Heights.
