Richard P. Tegarini

Richard Tegarini, the loving husband of Nancy Tegarini for 55 years, passed away at the age of 90 on October 11, 2021 at his home in West Hartford, CT. He was born in Bristol on November 3, 1930, the son of Cesare and Luigina (Marchettini) Tegarini of Italy. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter Annamaria Tegarini of West Hartford, CT. He was predeceased by his brother Renato Tegarini of Italy. Richard was employed by The Hartford Insurance Group for 23 years in the Shipping Department. He was a longtime parishioner of St. Helena Church in West Hartford. Richard’s family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at UCONN and Hartford HealthCare at Home for the wonderful care they provided him. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, (October 18), at 10:00 am at St. Mark the Evangelist Church, 467 South Quaker Lane, West Hartford. Everyone is requested to meet at the Church. Entombment will be private and at the convenience of the family. Calling hours are Sunday, (October 17), from 2 to 4 pm at the Sheehan Hilborn Breen Funeral Home, 1084 New Britain Ave., West Hartford. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Jefferson House, Center for Healthy Aging.
