Lillian Stamper Caswell, widow of Edwin Harden Caswell, departed this life on Wednesday, October 13, 2021, at Bourbon Community Hospital, having attained the age of 91 years. She was born January 18, 1930 in Beattyville, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Orlie and Lois Moore Stamper, was a homemaker, and a member of Old Union Christian Church. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Edwin Douglas Caswell.

Surviving is one son, Bruce (Sue Ann) Caswell; two grandsons, Jonathan Caswell, Russell Caswell; and two brothers-in-law, E.J. (Marilyn) Caswell and James (Barbara) Caswell.

The funeral service for Lillian Stamper Caswell will be at 1:00 p.m., on Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at Old Union Christian Church with Rev. Scott Winkler officiating. Interment will follow in Paris Cemetery. Casket bearers will be James Allen Murrell, Roger Caswell, David Moran, Donnie Clines, William “Buster” Tipton, and E.J. Caswell. Honorary bearers will be James Caswell, Sheila Tipton, Joan Shrout, Betty Rose, Alfrieda Clines, Sharon Murrell, and Marilyn Caswell.
