Funeral services for Daniel R. Huffman, 73, will be held 12:00 p.m. Thursday, October 21, 2021 at Hope Lutheran Church in Irmo. Burial will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Fort Jackson National Cemetery. Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at Barr-Price Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel.

Mr. Huffman passed away October 12, 2021. Born in Ypsilanti, Michigan on June 20, 1948, he was the son of the late Hiram Hart Huffman, Jr. and Mary Ellen Huffman. He grew up in Westland Michigan and graduated from John Glenn High School in 1967. Following high school, Mr. Huffman joined the United States Army in 1968 and served his county in Vietnam in 1970-1971. He was a computer repairman and retired from the federal government in 2017.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Betty Ann Huffman; son, Christopher Lee Huffman; grandchildren, Tara Jean Huffman, Faith Victoria Huffman, and Anna Lee Huffman; brother, Hiram Hart Huffman, III (Mary); and sisters, Barbara Ellen Owens and Jane Louise Culley.

He was predeceased by a sister, Jean Lois Deines.
