Gregory Joseph Fuhrman, 60, of Westminster passed away at home on Monday, October 11, 2021. Born April 27, 1961, in Bergen County, NJ and was the son of the late John Charles and Katherine (Knarre) Fuhrman. He was the loving husband of Kim (May) Fuhrman, and they were married for 35 years. Greg was a Social Studies and Cooperative Education teacher at Franklin High School. He was a McDaniel College football coach for 20 years, where he also earned his Master of Science degree. In his spare time, Greg enjoyed fishing, running, weightlifting, drawing, reading, chopping wood and hiking. Surviving in addition to his wife are son Matthew Paul Fuhrman of Lancaster, PA; brothers John Fuhrman of Winter Harbor, ME and Peter Fuhrman and wife Jeanine of Hamilton, NJ; Elaine “Grandma E” Fuhrman (Mom) of Winter Harbor, ME, Helen Fuhrman (sister-in-law) of Candia, NH and nieces and nephews, J.R., Colleen, Hailey, Laney, J.T., Joe, Rebecca, Christian, Jim, Diane, Katie, Matt, Olivia, Natalie and Logan. The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 17, 2021, from 5 to 8pm at Pritts Funeral Home & Chapel, 412 Washington Rd., Westminster. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 18, 2021, at 11:00am, St. John Catholic Church, 43 Monroe St., Westminster. Interment will be private.
