Brenda J. Greenawalt, 70, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away Tuesday, October 12, 2021. Born August 24, 1951, in Chambersburg, she was a daughter of the late George Rennis and Jean Fannie Etter Fox. Brenda was a 1969 graduate of the Chambersburg Area Senior High School and then was employed for 20 years at the former Stanley Company. She then supervised the warehouse at Sears in Chambersburg for 15 years. Brenda was a member of King Street United Brethren Church and volunteered with Meals on Wheels. She enjoyed playing Scrabble, reading, and painting. She is survived by her significant other, John McFadden of Chambersburg; her son, Eric Greenawalt of Chambersburg; two grandchildren, Erica and Evan; two sisters, Kathy Kayhoe (Ronald) of Waynesboro and Trudy Cooley of Chambersburg; her cousin, Stacie Baughman of Chambersburg; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Rennis Fox. Services will be private.
