<p>Clare Brown Bottazzi (February 28, 1938 &ndash; October 11, 2021)</p> <p>Clare Brown Bottazzi, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed to glory on Monday October 11, 2021 at the age of 83. Clare was a native of Chalmette, LA and a resident of Covington, LA for nearly 50 years. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Victor Bottazzi, father Hoyet Winn Brown, mother, Caroline Elizabeth Stiller, brother Hoyet Winn Brown, Jr, and grandson, Andrew Mark Barker. She leaves behind her sons: Richard Bernard Gaudet, Jr (Harriet) and Kip Joseph Bottazzi (Rebecca), daughters Elizabeth Gaudet Hilby (Lester), Karen Gaudet Arthur (Mark), and Sharon Gaudet Arnold (Greg). She is survived by ten grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Clare enjoyed sharing her gift of crochet with anyone who would sit with her. She was an eager crafter of many sorts; loved her plants, feeding ducks, karaoke, and her family. She was still young at heart although her body disagreed.
