Phillip Reed, 77, of Maylene, Alabama passed away October 11, 2021. He is preceded in death by his parents, Hillary and Ila Reed; son, Steven Reed; and sister, Connie Sides. Phillip is survived by wife of 45 years, Barbara McMullen Reed; sons, Mitchell Reed (Braley), Jeffery Reed (Rebecca), and Brian Reed (Maria); daughter-in-law, Amy Reed; 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; sisters, Donna Williams, and Linda Wilson (Ed Dunn); and best friends, Jerry and Debbie Goble. Phillip was retired from AAA Cooper Transportation. He enjoyed fishing and Alabama football. He was a member of Gardendale First Baptist Church. Visitation will be held Thursday, October 14, 2021, from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm with funeral service to follow at 3:00 pm, Crestview Memorial Funeral Home, 5250 Veterans Memorial Drive, Adamsville, Alabama. Interment will immediately follow at Crestview Memorial Gardens. The family would like to express gratitude to the Expect Care Hospice team.
