Doris Steele Walsh was born on October 2, 1930 and passed away on October 9, 2021 after a long illness. She is survived by a daughter, Janice "Margo" McGee Majors and a sister Pat Steele Sorrell (Bill), Birmingham, Al, several grandchildren,  great-grand children and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her late parents, Bertha Mae and Richard Steele, her husband, Leland Walsh, a daughter, Pamela McGee Lybrand; her sisters, Lois Anderson Smith; Charlotte Steele Ratliff (Gary) and a brother, Gene Steele.

She grew up in the Chattanooga area; although she lived in Arizona and Wyoming and traveled extensively before returning to Chattanooga several years ago.

She was a past member of Asbury Methodist Church Chattanooga.

Family graveside services will be held at Lakewood Memory Gardens, Lakeview, GA on October 19, 11:30 AM.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to your favorite charity. The family gives thanks to the staff of Life Care Center of East Ridge over the past 2 years for their loving care and also to Hospice of Chattanooga.
