<p> <span style="font-family:comic sans ms,arial;"><span style="font-size:18px;"> IOTA- It is with heavy hearts that the family of Nell Hebert Fruge announces her passing on Tuesday, October 12, 2021, in the comfort of her home at the age of 83. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00pm on Friday, October 15, 2021, at St. Jules Catholic Church in Tee Mamou. Burial will follow in the Reed Cemetery with Father Paul LaFleur, Celebrant.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:comic sans ms,arial;"><span style="font-size:18px;"> Nell was a homemaker and devoted herself to the care of her family. She loved sewing, crocheting, and tending to her flowers and hummingbirds. Nell will be missed by all, especially her husband of sixty-five years, Roonie R. Fruge of Tee Mamou; her son, Darrell J. Fruge and wife, Kimberly of Tee Mamou; her daughters, Darlene F. Richard and companion, Ronnie Trahan of Rayne, Suzanne F. LaTour and husband, Raymond of Tee Mamou, Sonya F. LaCasse and husband, Barry of Iota, Christine F. Comeaux and husband, Jerry of Evangeline, Jeanie F. Carroll and husband, Ricky of Sulphur, and Naomi F. Vidrine and husband, Jeff of Tepetate; nineteen grandchildren, Racheal, Jessica, Brett, Kelsi, Khasi, Regina, Selina, Ashley Craig, Trent, Kendall Rose, Kourtney, Erika, Ryan, Katy, Khylee, Kharisa, Khenni, Macey, and Gavin; thirty-six great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:comic sans ms,arial;"><span style="font-size:18px;"> She is preceded in death by her parents, Don and Jeanie Miller Hebert, granddaughter, Katrina Myers; siblings, Vincent Hebert, Issac Hebert, and Rose Hebert; and son in law, Carl K. Richard.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:comic sans ms,arial;"><span style="font-size:18px;"> At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Iota on Thursday, October 14th from 10:00 am until 10:00 pm and again on Friday, October 15th from 8am until time of services.
