<p>Colleen Helen Fryer</p> <p>May 21, 1942 &ndash; October 10, 2021</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>It is with heavy hearts that the family of Colleen Fryer announces her passing at the Maple Creek Hospital on Sunday, October 10, 2021 at the age of 79.</p> <p>Colleen was one of four children born into the family of Lenord and Helen Briggs.</p> <p>Colleen was born May 21, 1942 at Maple Creek, SK. She grew up on the farm at Claydon, SK.</p> <p>After her school years, Colleen met her husband, Bev Fryer. They were married November 10, 1960. Colleen and Bev loved to go dancing and playing cards, and enjoyed attending rodeos together. They lived in Bracken, SK and in 1974 they moved to a farm in Frontier, SK. Then, in 1994, they retired from the farm and moved to Maple Creek, SK.</p> <p>Colleen was very active in the community. She volunteered and was part of the CWL, 21 Club, Jasper Centre&nbsp;Board, and worked many years at the Salvation Army Thrift Store.</p> <p>Colleen was very active; she loved gardening, cooking, curling, and always loved to go for walks.</p> <p>She was predeceased by her parents, Lenord and Helen Briggs; her in-laws Joe and Marion Fryer; brother-in-law Earl and two sisters-in-law Marlene and Donna.</p> <p>Colleen is survived by her husband, Bev Fryer; two daughters Glenda Schultz (Dale), and Janice Miller (Shane); and a very special grandson they raised, Ryan Fryer (Lacey).</p> <p>She has four granddaughters and twelve great-grandchildren.</p> <p>Colleen has two brothers, Donald and Herb (Arlene); and one sister Monica (Bob).</p> <p>At this time, the family has chosen to have a private service on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at 1:00PM.&nbsp;</p>

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Colleen Fryer announces her passing at the Maple Creek Hospital on Sunday, October 10, 2021 at the age of 79.

Colleen was one of four children born into the family of Lenord and Helen Briggs.

Colleen was born May 21, 1942 at Maple Creek, SK. She grew up on the farm at Claydon, SK.

After her school years, Colleen met her husband, Bev Fryer. They were married November 10, 1960. Colleen and Bev loved to go dancing and playing cards, and enjoyed attending rodeos together.
